Why does God work so differently in the lives of people? Why did he lead the shepherds and the wise men to him in such different ways and by such different routes?

I do not know the answer, but this I do believe, that God draws each of us to Him. It is only for us to respond to His call and follow His call as He brings us to Himself. And I believe that in each life he works in ways that are tailored made, designed just for us. He knows us better than we know ourselves and He knows how to draw us to Himself.

It is not that we search for God, but that God searches for us. He is God, the infinite creator of the universe who would not abandon us but humbled Himself to be born like one of us in order to save us from sin and bring us into His presence for all eternity. None of us is forgotten or overlooked.
